The tour starts at the Hotel zur Post towards the outskirts of the village. On the heights, you can look back again with a beautiful view over Deudesfeld. Down in the Salmtal valley, past the "Binsenmühle" (mill) with the "Windrosenranch", the route continues to Weidenbach. Through Meisburg you follow the path into the Wiesental. Through the Lohsalm valley you reach the Schneidemühle. The mill is still fully functional. Below the mill across the stream valley and upstream again to the Schneidemühle. The path lives up to its name. Mausemühle, Binsenmühle, Weidenbachermühle-Pappelhof, Schneidemühle and the Turnermühle.
There are refreshment opportunities in Deudesfeld, Meisburg and Weidenbach.
