- Description

It passes through villages and vineyards, offers history and nature, allowing you to choose between a short and a wider route, designed for trekking on foot and off-road by bike, which can be traveled in both directions. The long ring, full of large differences in height, climbs and steep descents, is a route recommended for expert and trained cyclists. It is always possible to avoid the most extreme passages with portage (i.e. going on foot with the bike next to you) or, more simply, using the short asphalt connection between two places or the road transport service. The short ring from Barbaresco passes through Alba, then runs alongside the Tanaro and then climbs into the Barolo area from Roddi - Verduno - La Morra and finally Barolo. The long ring, however, from Barbaresco passes to Neive and Treiso, then enters the Alta Langa among the Fenoglian places and, having descended into the Belbo Valley, goes up it up to the Bossola Pass from which it returns to the main ridge of the Langhe towards the Valley Tanaro and then from Bossolasco -Serravalle and Roddino it reaches Serralunga and Monforte, from which Novello and Barolo. The variant from Serralunga to Castiglione Falletto - Monforte is possible.Along the route, charging stations for e-bikes and maintenance stations are planned and signposted for small problems that may happen to your bicycle. They are usually found in the town center or in the immediate vicinity, near rest areas or camper areas.
