The pays of Bâgé and Pont-de-Vaux in Bresse and Saône, a land of traditions

Between Burgundy and Bresse, in the department of Ain, the Bâgé-le-Châtel and Pont-de-Vaux region, located on the left bank of the Saône, offers a green and hilly landscape ideal for bicycle rides or family hikes.

Bordered to the west by the immense flooded meadow of the Val de Saône, which is home to an exceptional fauna and flora. Flowers protected for their rarity (guinea fern) and thousands of birds (corncrake, curlew, little egret...) come here to find refuge.

A peaty moor at Boz with drosera and lycopods or sand dunes at Sermoyer give an idea of the surrounding natural wealth.
