A summer full of enjoyment: this is taken care of, not only by the village's Hornbahn cable car, which comfortably carries you up to the mountain pastures, but it’s lastly up to you to make your way by shanks' pony to where the air is a little thinner and the view a little clearer. From the mountain station of the Gosaukamm lift, a clearly marked hiking path withgentle climbs leads to the Gablonzerhütte and Breiningalm (10 minutes), the Sonnenalm(20 minutes), the Zwieselalmhöhe (30 minutes) and the Zwieselalmhütte (40 minutes). From here, make a left in the direction of Annaberg.

The alpine huts are open from the end of June to September and the dairy farmers serve excellent, homemade cheese specialties

Coming from the A10 motorway, take the exit Golling direction Abtenau and Russbach. From Bad Ischl you drive via Bad Goisern and Gosau to Russbach.
