- Description

The path "On Nature’s Trail" connects National Park Hotel Villa Sonnwend with the panorama tower on the Wurbauerkogel in Windischgarsten.
Eight stations, most of which are interactive, bring variety to the hike. With the stone disc game, you can let your imagination run wild and form word combinations with "stone". Virgin forests with towering fir trees and ancient yews will accompany you on the Patzlberg. At the station "Interesting facts about trees", you will learn everything about nurse log reforestation and root systems. From the "National Park View" station, you can look through the telescope at the rock face across the way and, with any luck, even see some chamois.
At the "Wheel of Time", take a look back into the past and learn how the impressive mountains of the Windischgarsten valley formed.
In front of the panorama tower on the Wurbauerkogel, children can put their climbing skills to the test. - Highest point
