- Description

A stroll along the "lake Gosau", with its world famous rocky back-drop is an opportunity to enjoy natural beauty at its best. The water is crystal clear and is drinking quality.
We begin our walk with a view of the Dachstein mountain range and make our way along the left side of the lake: on the sunny side steep wooded sections alternate with vertical rock faces . These are covered in places by heather and in the spring there are wonderful displays of yellow alpine primroses.
Enjoy the freshness and tranquility of the woodland and take a rest on the soft cushoning of the mosses.
We return along the shaded side of the lake and pass by uprooted tree trunks. In 1987 an avalanche tore down a wide expanse of the woodland here as it reached the valley bottom.
Experience a 360° panorama tour through Gosau valley...
