The tour starts where the Gaflenzbach flows into the Enns and runs partly parallel to the thematic hiking trail Trade and Transport on the Enns. The iron from the Erzberg, the products of the iron industry and foodstuffs were transported on rafts on the Enns. Later, the Crown Prince Rudolf Railway took over this task, which at that time also transported summer visitors from Vienna to Weyer.
The way leads over Loiben. In former times, the Kirchenwegerl also went there and before Kleinreifling got its cemetery, the dead were carried over this pass to Weyer. By the way, from Loiben you have a beautiful view into the Gesäuse. Kleinreifling is a railroad junction and contributes significantly to the energy production in Weyer with hydroelectric power. The Kleinreifling reservoir has created completely new possibilities: The Seewiese is a popular local recreation area and ennstalfun navigates the reservoir with its rafts and the Viking ship; an adventure fun of the special class.
