Die 5. Etappe beginnt an der Kanalstraße Süd in Großefehn. Sie wandern entlang an Wiesen und Feldern. Schwarzbunte sind ihre Begleiter und nutzen die Kunstscheuerpfähle zum kratzen, die entlang des Ostfriesland Wanderweges aufgestellt wurden. Sie durchqueren kleine Ortschaften und wandern in Aurich ins Ziel.
