- Description

In the Upper Harz there are around 92 km of drainage galleries that belong to the UNESCO World Heritage in the Harz. These are underground galleries through which the water can flow out of the mines.
This tour for E-bikes goes from Clausthal-Zellerfeld to Gittelde on the western edge of the Harz.
The cycle route runs directly above the Ernst-August-Stollen drainage gallery. There are various places where you can take a break.
The tour is 43 km long. It starts from the car park next to the Kaiser Wilhelm II Schacht in Clausthal-Zellerfeld.
Most of the time you will be riding on forestry tracks but there are also some narrow trails and places with large roots. The tour takes around 4 to 5 hours.
The tour is very varied and is well-suited to E-bikes.
