- Description

The thermal region is an appealing place for cyclists with a fine taste for enjoyment. The Thermenradweg also provides convenient access to the legendary wine-growing country. The flat route starts at Vienna’s city boundary (Vorarlberger Allee), passes through Vösendorf, traverses a well-asphalted stretch in the direction of Laxenburg and continues further through the sun-kissed thermal region. The Thermenradweg now covers a wide stretch next to the Wiener Neustadt Canal which passes Pfaffstätten. This route then leads to Vienna New Town, and continues further up to Kleinwolkersdorf. The gentle hills at the southeast edge of the Vienna Woods, where wine flourishes so well, are always in view. The thermal region is a truly excellent spot for wine taverns. In addition to offering many beautiful views, the route is also pleasantly flat. The richly diverse cycling experience can be customised to meet individual needs thanks to an exemplary railway connection.
