This short hike is a great way to switch off after a hard day's work. The path is mainly a "nature trail" and leads above the small idyllic village of "Rümikon" through woods and meadows. In parts, the trail leads along the "Panoramaweg" and you are rewarded with a fantastic view.
- Directions
-
Start at the Rümikon school (if you are travelling by public transport, start at the train station) and walk through the idyllic little village. After the railway subway, turn left and walk to the "Vordere Steubern" junction. Turn right here and tackle the short ascent. Follow the nature trail to the road and follow the panoramic trail for a while to enjoy the beautiful view. Leave the panoramic trail at the edge of the forest and walk along the stream back to the village of Rümikon.
