Safety instructions
This route alternates stretches of cycle paths (appia antica) with roads open to car traffic.

We recommend a minimum of cycling experience (intermediate with child seat or extension) as along the way there are several stretches with large ancient cobblestones.

Maximum attention is recommended when pedaling in the urban traffic of the city and especially inside the lake tunnel.

It is possible to return to the starting point by taking the train from Castel Gandolfo station to Rome Capannelle and continue the last stretch by bicycle.

Always wear a helmet.

Lock the bike with a chain and padlock at each stop along the itinerary.

During the night, keep the vehicle safe inside the structure where you are staying (hotel, b&b, apartment, etc..)
