A medium-long distance hike from the gondola middle station to the Seppl hut and back.

Gondola Middle Station

From the middle station, the hike sets off west towards the Seppl hut, where you can eat Carinthian specialties and hang out in their comfy patio chairs on the sun terrace.  After this short rest, you head in the direction of the village of Schönfeld and Jacob's Ladder (Noreia Himmelsleiter on signs) to Mountain Resort Feuerberg.  From there you take a pleasant hike back to the starting point.  

From the middle station the path leads up the mountain on a well-marked trail with a simple orientation system.  The trails are marked by their number and the letter "W" (ex: W4)- the individual intersections are marked with their number and the letter "S" (ex: S76).   W33 until S17, further on W37 until S68, W7 until S82, and W44 until S37 -> Seppl hut -> W7 past S83, 35,33, 32, -> Mountain Resort Feuerberg -> S32 to W67 until S77 -> W68 until S69 -> W33 until S17 -> W33 to the middle station.

The Gerlitzen gondola is best reached by taking ÖBB train S2 and getting out at Annenheim.  You then take the gondola to the middle station.

There are plenty of parking spots in the valley station (Annenheim Kanzelbahn).
