The cycle route runs along the beautiful Ciclovia Alpe Adria cycle path. The route often runs along a former railway line and there are always beautiful resting places and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Start the tour with the bike bus at the Faaker See and then cycle back on your own from Tarvisio:
Starting from the car park of the Monte Lussari cable car in Camporosso, you cycle along the cycle path to Tarvisio (approx. 4 km). The town centre with its many Italian cafés, restaurants and boutiques is definitely worth a short visit. Afterwards you leave Tarvisio and follow the old railway road now for about 10 km to the Austrian-Italian border. From here, follow the R3C cycle path along the B83 federal road for approx. 6 km through Thörl-Maglern to Arnoldstein. Continue along the cycle path along the B83 federal road until you reach Pöckau and then turn left to get to the church. From there follow the R3C Alpe Adria cycle path to Neuhaus and Erlendorf, where you cross the Gail. Now cycle downstream following the signs to Müllnern. Here you cross another bridge over the Gail and immediately turn left towards Finkenstein. Through the Finkensteiner Moor you finally reach the Faaker See and the starting point of your tour.
