E-Bike Tour "10 Lakes"

The start of this ride is at the Drobollach tourist information center on the „Faaker See,” from which point you head down the main road (Bundesstrasse) to St. Niklas.  Cross the Drau River and follow the Drau bike path (Drauradweg) until reaching the “Silbersee.”  Going past the “Magdalensee,” the “Grünsee,” the “St. Leonharder See” and the “Vassacher See” you will soon arrive in St. Ruprecht.  By the tourist information center in St. Ruprecht you can exchange empty batteries.  From there you bike further to the southern shore of the “Ossiacher See” and along the bike path towards Ossiach.  The whole ride offers a gorgeous view of the lake and the Gerlitzen Alps.  You will now bike on mostly-empty roads past “Maltschacher See” past Höfling, Oberglan, Nassweg, Knasweg and Stallhofen back to Pörtschach on the “Wörthersee.” From Pörtschach you follow the Wörthersee bike path back to Velden.  From the Velden tourist information center you follow bike path R4C, past the sports arena, to “Lind ob Velden.”  Once again biking on mostly-empty side-streets the path leads from there to the Drau River and then along Drau bike path (Drauradweg) R1 until you get to St. Niklas.  Cross the Drau here and then ride slightly downhill back to Drobollach.
