This wonderful winter hike takes you up into the mountains above Flims. A magical snowy landscape, fantastic views and a few meters in altitude await you there, but they are easy to walk on the groomed paths.

You can reach the starting point at the Foppa mountain station with the Flem Xpress from Flims. At the start, you hike uphill past mountain pastures and wooden stables. On the right, you have a great view of the mighty rock faces of the Flimserstein. Then you cross the snow-covered Flims forest, at the end of which a breather awaits you, as the trail descends briefly. As you leave the trees behind you, you have a wonderful view of the mountain world, which will motivate you for the crisp ascent that follows. The last few meters then lead gently downhill to Startgels and your destination. There are refreshment stops in both Foppa and Startgels.
