- Description
-
From Guarda we walk uphill on the first stretch, following the Schellenursliweg. Towards Val Tuoi we cross the Clozza mountain stream and follow the path via Plan Champatsch to Alp Suot. On the opposite side of the valley up again, the path leads first on a path and then on a forest path to the alp Sura. The alp Sura is served during the summering season. The path continues over alpine meadows on a slight incline to Murtera Dadoura; you are now on one of the most panoramic passages of the Via Engiadina. Murtera Dadoura is the highest point of this stage. Across lush meadows and open pastureland we descend to the Maiensässen of Munt and across the stream to Chöglias. Below the alpine road, the day's destination Ardez with its striking castle ruins can be seen from far away. From the train station Ardez trains depart hourly to Guarda and Scuol.
