- Description
-
From Davos Dorf take the Postbus up to the Flüela pass and get off at the first stop after the top of the pass. Should you take the car, we recommend that you leave it in the parking area at the top of the pass. At the bus stop Flüela Schwarzhorn take the direction Schwarzhornfurgga and pass Schwarzchopf.
On the summer path, at a height of 2,500 metres, there is a spring with pure drinking water for Davos. It doesn’t get fresher than this! Continue on up to Schwarzhornfurgga at 2,883 metres. This gives you an excellent view of the Dischmatal. This is the longest side valley (12km) in the Davos region and is well worth a visit.
Going on from Schwarzhornfurgga the climb follows a zigzagging path all the way to the peak. To see the sunrise or sunset from here is breath-taking. The return follows the same path. - Directions
-
Start point - the first bus stop after the pass. If you are driving, it is best to use the car park at the top of the pass. Alternatively, there are a few parking spaces beyond. From the bus stop head off in the direction Schwarzhornfurgga following the sign post (Flüela Schwarzhorn) and pass the Schwarzchopf. From the Schwarzhornfurgga at 2,883 metres the path becomes narrow and twisting. The same path is used for the descent.
