- Description

This fast and winding downhill run leads through the forest and back to the valley station in Flims on a piste specially prepared for sledging. The toboggan run Foppa - Flims is easily accessible by chair lift. The tobogganing adventure begins only a few steps away from the valley station.
Frequent sledders get their money's worth here. Because as soon as you are down, the efficient chair lift takes you back up to Foppa. The toboggan run down to Flims is around three kilometres long.
- Directions
-
The downhill run starts below the restaurant in the Berghaus Foppa, then it leads you through the forest and back to the starting point at the valley station in Flims on a piste specially prepared for sledging.
After the start below the restaurant Berghaus Foppa, it winds its way through the high fir trees in the forest at the foot of the impressive Flimstein. The numerous bends and the snow-covered countryside are a fast-paced ride.In the halfway point the toboggan run crosses the ski slope once and leads along the Flem, which flows through the Val Stenna with the gorge of the same name before Flims. North of the valley section, which separates the two districts of Flims Dorf and Waldhaus, you return to the starting point at the valley station on a slope specially prepared for sledging.
If you look north from here, you will discover the Glarner main overthrust at the Tschingelhorn, which has been a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site since 2008. To the south, the Grosswald with its four lakes lies on the debris cone of the Flims landslide. The view of the Rhine Gorge from Conn is also overwhelming.
