- Description

Leaving the valley station of the Gotschna cable car the route follows mostly asphalt roads down towards Klosters Dorf and then onto the beautiful village of Serneus. Between Klosters Dorf and Serneus the track runs along the river Landquart on a gentle path. At one point you pass under the stunning bridge Sunnibergbrücke. It’s worth a stop just to take in this majestic piece of engineering and trace the mighty supports right up to the bridge itself. In Serneus begins the ascent to Schiefer. The initial phase is comfortable, but after the Schiefer Valley Station the rise becomes steeper over forest paths and trails up to the Casanna Alp. Now the real fun comes with a rapid decent to Serneuser Schwendi. Here you can take a thoroughly enjoyable rest before completing the final stretch back down to Klosters. The down hill runs over good forest paths through Cavadürli, Rüti before reaching Klosters.
