From Rosheim, this route follows the pleasant Voie Verte "Portes Bonheur, le chemin des carrières" and then after Obernai you reach the agricultural plain of Alsace and the land of sauerkraut. This route gives you the opportunity to cross a variety of landscapes.
The more athletic will do it in one day. You can also opt for the train + bike or plan 1 or 2 nights along the route, in order to fully enjoy your escapade.

This circuit starts at Petite-France in Strasbourg at the Ponts Couverts.
Follow the Canal de la Bruche / Eurovélo n°5 cycle route as far as the town of Ergersheim.
At this point, take the cycle track towards Dachstein.
In Dachstein, take the fortified gate, go through the village and continue to Altorf and then Griesheim-Près-Molsheim.
From the church of Griesheim-Près-Molsheim follow the direction of Rosheim and take the signposted route n°60.
When you arrive at the tourist office in the heart of Rosheim, turn right into the rue Braun. Pass under the Lion Tower. Then take the Voie Verte "Portes Bonheur, le chemin des carrières" and go to the old Boersch station. Continue on the Voie Verte to the crossroads indicating the cycle route to Obernai.
Once in Obernai, take the road to Boersch towards the town centre. When you arrive in front of the Sts-Pierre-et-Paul church, turn right at the roundabout towards the town centre. Go to the tourist office at the foot of the belfry, then to the right of the belfry follow rue Dietrich then Baegert . Turn left into rue de Sélestat. When you arrive at Place Neher, go through the Swal gate (fortified enclosure). Follow the river Ehn along the cycle track towards Niedernai.
Follow the signposted cycle route no. 15 to Strasbourg, which takes you through Meistratzheim, Krautergersheim, Innenheim and Geispolsheim.

Before setting off :

From Rosheim: take the Rosheim (D35) exit from the D500.
From Obernai: take exit 11 (from Strasbourg) or exit 12 (from Colmar) of the A35 motorway.
