From Rosheim, this tour follows the pleasant green route "Portes Bonheur, le chemin des carrières", then after Obernai, you cross orchards and vineyards. On the way back, you reach the agricultural plain of Alsace and the land of sauerkraut. This route gives you the opportunity to cross a variety of landscapes.
The more athletic will do this loop in one day. You can also opt for the train + bike or plan 1 or 2 nights along the route, in order to fully enjoy your escapade.

This tour starts at the Petite-France in Strasbourg at the Ponts Couverts.
Follow the Canal de la Bruche / Eurovélo n°5 cycle route to the town of Ergersheim.
At this point, take the cycle track towards Dachstein.
In Dachstein, take the fortified gate, cross the village.
Then continue to Altorf and Griesheim-Près-Molsheim.
From the church of Griesheim-Près-Molsheim, follow the direction of Rosheim and take the marked route n°60.
When you arrive at the Tourist Office in the heart of Rosheim, turn right into Rue Braun.Pass under the Lion Tower.
Then take the Voie Verte "Portes Bonheur, le chemin des carrières" and go to the old Boersch station.
Continue on the Voie Verte to the crossroads indicating the cycle route to Obernai.
Once in Obernai, take the road to Boersch towards the town centre.
When you arrive in front of the Sts-Pierre-et-Paul church, turn right at the roundabout towards the town centre.
Take the rue du Général Gouraud passing in front of the Place de l'Etoile.
Go to the tourist office at the foot of the belfry, then to the right of the belfry follow rue Ste Odile, Dietrich then Baegert.
Turn right into rue de Sélestat, then before the level crossing turn right into rue de Finhay and follow the signposted route to Barr via Goxwiller and Gertwiller.
In Gertwiller, after leaving the vineyards, at the roundabout, take the Rue du Forst. Follow the railway to the right until you reach Barr.
In Barr, turn right into rue Degermann. At the stop sign, turn left.
After the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville, at the corner of the Tourist Office, go down Rue des Maréchaux.
Turn left into rue de la Kirneck.
Opposite the Caisse d'Epargne, turn right, then the 1st left towards the school.
After the Carrefour Contact, turn right into rue Degermann, then go under the railway bridge.
At the end of the long straight road, turn left into Rue de Barr.
Take the 1st right (Rue du Buhl), then left.
At the end of the Rue de Valff at the Savonnerie du Piémont, take the Chemin de Lurtz opposite, then the 2nd right.
After the bridge over the motorway, turn left, then the first right.
At the entrance to the village of Bourgheim, follow the signs to Valff.
Then follow the signposted cycle route no. 13 to Strasbourg, passing through Valff, Niedernai, Meistratzheim, Innenheim and Blaesheim and Geispolsheim.

Before setting off :
