- Description
-
In addition to a 15-kilometer cross-country ski run, an idyllic winter hiking trail is prepared and signposted in the Valünatal from December to the end of March. The winter hike can be completed in about two hours by hikers with average physical condition. The well-prepared winter hiking trail leads from the Gänglesee car park in Steg along the romantic Saminabach, between snow-covered trees and bushes in the direction of Maiasäss, Brückle and then up to Alp Valüna (not open in winter). The difference in altitude from the starting point to Alp Valüna is around 100 meters. The way back to the car park then leads again via the same route. Refreshment facilities are available in the hamlet of Steg, but not along the route.
