This hiking trail goes via Vranduk fortress and climbs up via Zabrce and Kraljevine villages and goes all the way to the Pepelari mountain hut. While hiking you will be enjoying beautiful views, landscapes and forest paths. The trail is completely marked, so your hike, even long, will be pleasant and enjoyable.

The trail starts from the Vranduk fortress via asphalt road. At the first curve continue straight until you get to the stairs you will not notice until you reach them. Use stairs and descend to the bridge. When you cross the bridge, turn left and at the first turn to the right begins your ascent. Shortly after the graveyard, you will come to the viewpoint that is marked. From the viewpoint the trail leads you towards Kraljevine village through the village of Zabrce. Follow the marked trail all the way to your final destination, mountain hut Pepelari.

The trail is not physically demanding. It is very well marked and safe. There is no landmine suspected areas near the trail. During the rainy season the trail at some points can get slippery and muddy, so be careful at those certain spots you notice.

Take the road from Zenica to Doboj. After 10min drive, on your right, you will see the sign for the Vranduk fortress.
