From the car park follow the idyllic Louibach. At the branch-off take the right-hand path towards the lake. The unique circular trail around the lake begins below the restaurant Lauenensee. A permanent view of the lake is to enjoy along the entire walk. Doable with a good baby buggy.

The Destination Gstaad is located in the south-west of Switzerland right on the border to the French-speaking part of the country. The Destination is easily accessed by rail or car from the regions around Lake Thun and Lake Geneva and the Gruyere region Direct connections to the European high-speed rail network and all international airports in Switzerland guarantee a time-saving and pleasant journey. The main means of transport in the destination of Gstaad are the "MOB" (Montreux-Oberland Bernois) train and numerous post bus lines. Lauenensee can be reached from Gstaad by post bus or by car. Recommendation for the journey to Lake Lauenen:
On foot, by post bus or by bicycle from the village of Lauenen
By car: Parking with limited capacity. Once the car park is full, the road will be closed.
Tariffs parking: Min. CHF 8.- up to 6 h /6 to 12 h CHF 12.-.
