Description: Take the Stand-Xpress gondola to the starting point of the tour at the middle station. Here the snowshoe route quickly leads away from the piste into the Metsch forest. The Metschgraben can be crossed over a small bridge via a path that is used for alpine farming in summer. If it is cold enough, icy moulds form in the stream bed. The remaining metres in altitude are climbed along the edge of the forest on open terrain. After a total of 190 metres in altitude, the Bühlberg chairlift is reached. From here it is only five minutes to the Bühlberg restaurant, where you will also find the bus stop for the return journey to Lenk. If you still have energy left, you can add the Bühlberg snowshoe trail.

This tour can also be done downhill from the Bühlberg to the Stand-Xpress middle station.

If you have no experience in assessing the avalanche situation in open terrain, it is better to go on a snowshoe tour with a trained mountain guide.
Tips: After a beautiful snowshoe tour, you can enjoy the sun on the terrace of the Bühlberg mountain restaurant.
Arrival: Park in the village of Lenk and from there take the bus to the Metschbahn.
Public transportation: Take the ski bus from Lenk to the Metschbahn. Take the Stand-Xpress to the middle station. Bus timetable: SBB.

Return from Bühlberg by bus to Lenk.
