Description
Cult on two runners – the Niederhorn–Vorsass sledging run is a must for kids, young people and young at heart alike. Nothing invigorates the spirits more than an exhilarating descent down the mountain: childhood memories come rushing back and a great time is guaranteed for all. During the run, which lasts approximately 30 minutes, you will be treated to a unique view over Lake Thun and the snow-crested peaks of the Bernese Oberland.

The 3-kilometre sledging track will have you dashing down the mountain. When you reach Vorsass midway station, you can take the cable car back up to Niederhorn, where the fun can begin all over again. The snowy winter landscape adds to the fairy-tale ambiance, and the mountain panorama is stunning. Experienced sledgers will be in their element. The intermediate sledging run can also be easily tackled by beginners. Sledges can be hired at the Niederhorn summit station for a small fee.
