8860 - Okruh Nová Lesná - Dolný Smokovec

The route which is close to a SPORT level of difficulty due to its total vertical drop of 251 m is ideal even for experienced cyclo-families. It begins at the settlement of Nová Lesná with a rather steep ascent (2 km), and continues with an easier part below the main road called “Cesta Slobody” (2 km). Before you set out for a long descent back to Nová Lesná, we suggest you enjoy a beautiful view of peaks on one side and the whole foothills on the other. The descent is quite balanced, ideal for speed racing with children. Before the route enters the village, it leads across vast meadows where you can enjoy complete silence, a panoramic view of the Tatra ridge and an undisturbed picnic with your family.
