- Description

We start at the Huerzeler cycling station Playa de Muro South in a southerly direction on the coastal road. Soon we reach Can Picafort. We cross the popular holiday resort. Then we continue south. After about 13 km on the coastal road, we turn inland towards Petra. The road becomes more undulating from here on. After Petra, we continue towards Felanitx, from where we start the climb to Puig de Sant Salvador. The serpentines lead us up through typical Mediterranean pine forests to the pilgrimage church and former monastery. At the top, we are rewarded with a fantastic panoramic view over almost the whole of Mallorca.
The way back leads us to Felantix at the foot of the Sant Salvador. We now head north-east towards Manacor, birthplace of tennis world star Rafael Nadal. From Manacor we continue towards the north-east coast. After about 15 km we reach the coastal road, which leads us back to Playa de Muro/Alcudia.
