easy/intermediate route, not too steep. 1200 meters vertical. Crampons on bindings can be useful for beginners, windy conditions on this route. Beautiful Panorama on Dents Blanche
Parking often full, many ski touring routes starting from this point (Col de Cou, Col de Bertolet, Dents Blanches...)
- Directions
-
Start in l'Erigné. On my GPS Tracking, I left the parking higher due to lack of snow.
Stay on the route towards Chalets des Mines d'Or. After the restaurant in Charny, take the trail on the right under the woods, along the river. To the first crossing, take right.
Stay on this route until Col de la Golèse (or 300 meters before), and hike on your left. Hike on your right to reach the point where you can see col and refuge de la Golèse bellow you. Follow the summer trail to Tête de Bostan.
To ski down, same route or you can stay on the ridge and ski where you want!
Possibility to ski the South Face depends on ski conditions. In this case, go down to Chalets de Bostan and skin up to Col de la Golèse.
At the Col, take the same track to ski down?
