Description

This itinerary takes the visitor to discover the beauty of Lecce, the city of Baroque par excellence, and all its most important monuments. Baroque is not the city's only protagonist: Lecce is a perfect blend of various architectural styles, ranging from Rococo to Neoclassical.

The historical centre is accessed through three gates, Napoli, Rudiae and San Biagio, built in three different architectural styles.

The route is suitable for everyone, families with children, the elderly and the disabled. It does not present any particular criticalities and is easily accessible to all.

The route is suitable for everyone.

Pause for refreshments and toilet facilities is always permitted: there are two public toilets, one of which is accessible to the disabled (in the municipal villa).

.

All monuments are accessible to people in wheelchairs, as they are equipped with slides or lack architectural barriers.
