More than 200 years old, in traditional wooden construction, this timbered box (Troadkasten) is a holiday home for two or four people (on two floors + veranda). It inspires visitors and guests alike through its history and originality. The exposed location on the sunny terrace of the Katschtal (1200 m above sea level) with view on the Katsch and Pöllatal and the nearby Tauern mountains thrilled as well as the varied leisure activities in the region: Ski total (16 lifts) and winter fun from December to April. The Katschberg region is one of the best-frequented winter sports areas in Carinthia (1600-2200 m). The house is only 6 minutes away from the ski lift center. From Rennweg (5 minutes' walk) there is a ski bus, Katschberg has its own ski depot for you. It offers outside a sunny terrace/veranda and a panoramic sauna for up to 6 persons.

The house is ideal for couples or small families with four-legged friends. It consists of a fully equipped kitchen and shower / WC on the ground floor and a large bedroom with 3 built-in beds and 1 sofa, all of original old wood.
