In winter, the cross-country ski trails of the Col d'Ornon have a very special appeal for visitors, as they run through the middle of the largest alder forests in Europe.
Nordic skiing is very popular in the region in winter!
The trails on the Col d'Ornon are known and loved for their extremely varied topography. The landscapes are beautiful on both sides of the valley: on one side the Taillefer massif and the Grand Armet, on the other the Tête des Filons and the Vallon.
