Keine andere Veranstaltung verbindet bäuerliche Tradition und Stolz mit einem Fest für Einheimische wie Gäste anschaulicher als der alljährliche Almabtrieb
Diese einmalige Stimmung, die Einheimische, aber vor allem tausende
Besucher erfasst, wird im Kaiserwinklort Kössen seit nunmehr über 19 Jahren liebevoll mit dem "Alm-Hoamfahr´n" gepflegt.

Am 22.09.2012 von 10.30 bis 16.00 Uhr gilt es, diese alte Traditionen wieder aufleben zu lassen, wenn das Almvieh nach einem unglücksfreien Jahr bunt geschmückt, mit lautstarkem Geläut durch das Dorf getrieben wird, begleitet von den stolzen Almbauern und Helfern.

Die Veranstaltung findet bei jeder Witterung statt und der Eintritt ist frei.
