A warm-hearted welcome to the Venedigerhof, by Familie Düvelmeyer.
Our Alpine guesthouse and youth hotel is situated southward on a sunny slope at a height of 1200 meters sea level over Neukirchen at the Großvenediger with a splendid view of the 3000 meters high glaciated mountains in the National Park Hohe Tauern.
The Venedigerhof is the ideal house for nature lovers, group arrangements, clubs, conventions, school project weeks, National Park weeks, school ski courses, as well as for the individual family holiday.
Numerous leisure facilities can be used in our house: open-air chess, billiard, table tennis, tabletop football, fitness room, airgun shooting stand, solarium, sauna, two places for internet surfing... – there is a variety of things to do.
For younger children we have children’s seats, a play area on the terrace ( within range of the parents) with a sandbox, a wading pool, a slide and a climbing wall. If desired, a babyphone can also be provided.
From the large sun terrace you have a wonderful view of the Großvenediger and the surrounding 3000 meters high mountains in the National Park Hohe Tauern.
The rooms with shower and toilet in the main house, as well as the guest house and the organic farm Moosen offer accommodation up to 155 persons.
In one of the three comfortable dining rooms you can enjoy traditional Austrian and international specialities. Each of the three dining rooms can be separated and used as a seminar room providing the appropriate equipment (data projector, TV, video, DVD – player, screen).
We also offer a spacious seminar room with all the latest presentation technology (beamer, TV, video, screen, DVD player ...) for all your events. A separate room is provided for seminar teachers, support persons and presenters that is also equiped with Internet and TV .
Handicapped accessible rooms and recreation rooms
In the new extension at the alpine guesthouse and youth hotel Venedigerhof handicapped people will find conveniences of any kind, including furnishings and lift.
Winter joys
Located directly at the house there is a skating rink, a toboggan – run, and a curling lane, each equipped with floodlight. Enjoying marvellous views while going for walks in winter is very inviting.
The courtesy ski bus stops at the Venedigerhof and brings you to the station at the bottom of the Wildkogel lifts. There you can store your skis and snowboards in our depot, free of charge.
Sense the feeling of freedom, amidst the fascinating winter landscape and experience winter fun while skiing down rapidly and gaining momentum.
