Choose between our comfortable en suite double rooms or family rooms consisting of two separate adjoining bedrooms for parents and children.
All rooms have en-suite showers/toilets and lovely views of the surrounding mountains with two of our rooms having their own balcony overlooking the spectacularly majestic Grimming Mountain situated in our valley.

The 81 square meter appartment has 1 double room and a family room for four and a kitchen/dining room area with a fully equipped kitchenette and separate lounge area.

After a day of skiing in Winter or hiking and cycling in Summer return to Landhaus Tauplitz to relax in our comfortable guest lounge - choose a book from our small English/German library to browse through or a family game or billiards.
Settle into our house bar for an Apres-ski Gluhwein or Summer Cocktail and ease your way into the evening. Our sun terrace in Summer is the perfect place to relax in the sun.
Our dining room………
The mornings begins with an Austrian breakfast – Muesli and Yoghurt, freshly baked rolls, “Aufschnitt” –Cheese and Austrian cured meats, and a selection of Pickwick tea's and Ground Coffee.
In the evening we serve a 3 course adult menu utilizing locally sourced organic products and we offer Austrian and International Cuisine. For children a two course Children’s Menu. We also cater for Special Diets when prior notification is given.
Catering for Special Functions such as Birthdays, Anniversaries or Small Weddings in this beautifully romantic area are a speciality. Incentive Travel Programmes can be arranged for Corporate weekends or small conferences.
Sauna……………
After an exhausting day of winter sports, walking, canyoning, mountain biking, or an excursion to the nearby beautiful lakes of the Salzkammergut area you can relax totally in our newly built sauna.
Skiing in the Alps…………
Landhaus Tauplitz is ideally situated for all winter sports and the 4 person lift is a 4 minute walk away from us which whisks you up to the Tauplitzalm from our 900 metre village to the ski area of 2000 metres. Langlauf (Cross-country skiing) tracks are in the village and throughout the area.
Tauplitz is one of the oldest traditional skiing areas which is not overrun by large groups of tourists. The skiing area offers unique and interesting ski runs with a variety of different levels of difficulty. Tauplitz is in a snow sure area guaranteeing snow in the winter season.
The 19 ski lifts cover 40 km of ski slopes suitable for all skiers from the beginner to the experienced skier.
