- Description
-
If you love the forest, you will love this snowshoe trail. A narrow path leads through the intact spruce forest.
The trail starts either in Blatten at the valley station (1327 m) or directly at the Tschuggen middle station (1619 m). From Blatten you walk in the direction of the Gasser sports shop, there the path leads over the Hasel mats (1500 m) to the Tschuggen holiday village (1619 m).
This is the entrance to the Antoniuswald forest. If you behave calmly, there is a good chance of spotting a deer or chamois. The path through the forest leads to Alpe Bel (2010 m) with its charming chapel and on to the top station of the gondola lift.
Enjoy the wonderful panorama on the Alpe Bel and round off the tour with a fine meal in the Chalet Sepp restaurant or in the Hamilton Lodge. Or unwind in the spa area of the Hamilton Lodge restaurant.
You can return to Blatten either by cable car on the Chiematte or by aerial cableway.
