From the mountain station of the Sonntag-Stein cable car, the trail leads uphill towards Alpe Oberpartnom (Breithornhütte). From there, continue along the hiking trail to Alpe Steris. Directly at Alpe Steris, the trail branches off in the direction of Breithorn. From here, a path marked in blue-white-blue and partly with rope safety leads up to the summit of the Breithorn. This section is only recommended for experienced hikers with absolute surefootedness. At the summit you can enjoy a fabulous 360° panoramic view. The descent takes you along the same route for the first part to Alpe Steris. From the Alpe Steris, you can choose the same return route or the return route via the Bickelwald to the mountain station of the Sonntag-Stein cable car. Attention: This tour is not recommended in wet conditions!
