3 km long natural toboggan run from Grabs via the Gauertal valley to Latschau.
The ascent from Latschau to Grabs takes about 1.5 hours.

From Berggasthof Grabs, the descent on the toboggan is rapid and slightly curvy through forest sections down into the Gauertal valley. Via the Volsporaweg it then continues to Latschau. The total height difference of the toboggan run is 360m. The toboggan run is prepared.

As with tobogganing and ski touring, wear a helmet, gloves and warm, waterproof clothing.
For the SNOOC snowshoe sledge descent, consider a mask and scarf for the face as well as gaiters to prevent the snow from getting into your pants. Back protection is recommended.

Coming from Bludenz take the motorway exit Bludenz/Montafon and follow the L188 into Montafon until you reach the Rätikon crossing Schruns-Tschagguns. There you turn right and follow the road into the centre of Tschagguns. In the centre of Tschagguns you continue straight ahead until you arrive in Latschau. Turn left in front of the power station and follow the road up to the parking lot of the fire station.

Just leave your car
The land buses of the Montafonerbahn operate throughout the entire Montafon. The main lines run every hour from Schruns station.
From Schruns train station you can take bus number 1 to Latschau. The exit point is: "Kraftwerk". From the bus stop you walk up to the fire station, following the "Aquaweg" (signs). At the end of the parking lot you can start the winter hike.
For the way back
Bus number 1 takes you back to Schruns train station.

Arrival by train
From Bludenz station the Montafonerbahn runs every hour (sometimes every half hour). There are also direct connections from Lindau (D) and Bregenz.
