The itinerary follows a circular route around the perimeter of the Park of the Euganean Hills and is full of numerous tourist attractions. The series of destinations begins with Villa Molin, the masterpiece by Vincenzo Scamozzi built near Padua, and continues in Battaglia Terme with Catajo castle and Villa Selvatico-Sartori before coming, slightly further on, to Villa Emo with its typical Italian garden. Monselice offers to visitors the views of the town square, the castle and the nearby walk of the Jubilee Sanctuary of the Sevene Churches on Mount Rocca which leads up to Villa Duodo. Resuming the journey southwards, visitors come to Este and its fourteenth century castle and go through its marvellous old town centre before reaching the Museum of Geology and Palaeontology of the Euganean Hills. The itinerary continues towards Mount Lozzo, on whose slopes stands the castle of Valbona, before coming to Vo' Vecchio, steeped in old world charm. At Bastia di Rovolon visitors come to a landscape covered with vineyards which produce wonderful red wines and the fragrant DOCG Muscat wine with its notes of orange blossom. On reaching the north-eastern edge of the hills, it is worth pausing to visit the Abbey of Praglia, a gem of Renaissance architecture and an important centre of Benedictine spirituality. The last stretch towards Padua passes through the Spas of Abano and Montegrotto, the European capitals of spa treatment and wellness.

From Padua, the Euganean Hills appear on the horizon as isolated wavy lines, with a surprising variety of shapes: conical outlines that overlook softly rolling lands, with picturesque results. In this unmistakable setting, nature shows itself in its many forms while archaeological evidence tells the stories of ancient civilisations. This pleasant excursion allows you to circumnavigate the entire Euganean hill system.
