From Kouty Skiareal to Dlouhé stráně

The hike starts at the upper Kouty Skiareal chairlift station, but it can be reached also by following the red tourist trails in case you don't want to pay around 270 Kč for the way up with a chairlift. However, going up with chairlift is really worth the money, because of its fascinating views, easy and fast way up to the starting point. It is around 4 kilometers until the destination waterplant Dlouhé stráně, from which you can go back by hiking the red tourist trail (additional 7,5 kilometers until the lower Kouty Skiareal station) or rent a scooter and use it for downhill trip following the cycling paths (17 kilometers will take around 1,5 hours). Scooter costs about 350 Kč (with a deposit of 500 Kč), so, if you consider renting it at the top, ask for a discount in the lower skilift station first, maybe they provide a combined cheaper ticket for both. We haven't planned, therefore, ended up paying both fees.
