Description
The Bondone Three Peaks Tour is the most beaten and renowned trekking route in the Trento area, probably the most interesting in the entire Bondone - Stivo mountain range.

The route passes through Cornetto, Doss D'Abramo and Cima Verde, the three elevations that surround the grassy expanse of the Viote.

The route offers magnificent views of the Brenta and Adamello Groups, Presanella, Carè Alto, Gavardina Alps, Lake Garda, Sarca Valley, Vallagarina, and Adige Valley. All in all, a true balcony over Trentino just a stone's throw from the provincial capital.

Directions
We set off in a westerly direction along the small forest road that leads to the wide meadows of the Viote - Torbiera delle Viote - along trail marker 607. You continue, either along trail marker 607, or in a southwesterly direction along the beautiful mule track until you reach the " Bocca di Vaiona" (1695m) .

You now go left in a southerly direction following the trail of trail marker 618, which immediately joins trail marker 607. Continue uphill in the direction of Monte Cornetto. The trail is initially stony but, out of the vegetation, it continues on easier terrain along the scenic Costa dei Cavai, the ridge that leads directly behind Cornetto, at the foot of the northern slope.

Here there is a junction where you continue straight uphill along trail marker 617. The trail crosses the west slope of the Cornetto and leads to the south ridge. Upon reaching the ridge, you turn left and quickly reach the top of Cornetto (2180m) over short, easy rocky rises.

Descend along the ascent route to the junction located below the north slope of Cornetto.

Now continue to the right (East) along trail marker 636 and, passing by a providential and incredible drinking fountain, quickly reach the base of the West slope of Doss D'Abramo. You now have two options:

Equipped with appropriate gear (see equipment note) go up the short ferrata and continue along the path to the summit marked by a large iron cross ( 2140m) . From the summit cross, briefly retrace your steps and take the southeast gully that descends on rocky ledges (cable); at its end go left (east) flanking the ledge served by the steel rope - marker 638A. At the end of the ledge be careful not to take, going right (west), the difficult and steep Ferrata Segata. At the end of the ledge you will find yourself on trail 636. you avoid the ascent to Doss D'Abramo by going left on trail 636, which bypasses the summit of Doss d'Abramo on the north flank and taking advantage of a convenient trail that rejoins the route in the direction of Cima Verde. Continue in a northeast direction along the ridge that quickly leads to Cima Verde (2102m). From here you descend by trail marker 636, initially over meadow and then through dense mugo forest. The trail is rather stony and uncomfortable, sometimes slippery due to the wetness.

At the end of the trail go right to the "Viote Nature Trail" (636).

After crossing some wide meadows, you return to the starting point, following the trail that continues slightly to the left and not continuing on 636, which leads far to the right (East) in the direction of the Alpine Ecology Center.
