Woeckelwarte 2098m

Past the museum and following the Lehner Wasserfall (waterfall), the route goes up steeply to a beautiful viewing point right by the water fall with a view of the valley floor. From there, you go past the first alpine roses up to the Stabelealm, which we pass on the right and continue straight on to the Woeckelwarte via the Innerbergeralm. We will be able to enjoy a beautiful view in every direction!

We have chosen a somewhat less steep path for the descent which again grants us the beautiful view of the other side of the valley with the Narrenkogel/Horlachtal, Hemerkogel, Gries/Sulztal etc. We re-emerge right by the parking area. Then there’s still enough time for a tour at the museum!
