Adventure trails in the valley basin of Umhausen
Go, read, experience and be astonished. An all-round program for body and mind is offered by the redesigned trail "Umhausen um um". Three forest paths are located at a height of 1050 m around the village: the Waalweg, the Steppsteig and the Wienersteig. A nature trail and playgrounds invite you to linger. A natural and cultural adventure trail for walking, hiking and enjoying around and in Umhausen.

At the Steppsteig & Waalweg is also a nature trail Info: The "Umhausen around UM" path is accessible several times: Car park Bischoffsplatz at the southern end of the town: Getting there: Past the Kneippanlage zum Waalweg. Parking "Mure" north of the parish church of Umhausen. Access: 15 minutes walk on the road towards Farst. Turnoff to Wienersteig.

The car drive to the Ötztal valley. Situated in Tirol, the Ötztal valley set off in southerly direction and is the longest side valley in the Eastern Alps. The journey with the car leads you through the Inntal valley to the entrance of the valley and further on through the valley. Among the toll motorways you can also use the country roads.

Travel safe and comfortable with the train to the Ötztal Bahnhof train station. Last stop and exit point is the train station Ötztal Bahnhof.
