Landhaus Tauplitz offers its guests spacious accommodation and is particularly suitable for families and groups who enjoy an idyllic picturesque Austrian mountain village.
With warm Summers and snow-sure Winters, Tauplitz is the perfect destination for the enthusiastic nature-lover throughout the year in a village which heartily welcomes visitors.
Landhaus Tauplitz is within easy reach by road, rail or transfers from the airports of Munich, Salzburg or Linz.

Our rooms……………

Choose between our comfortable en suite double rooms or family rooms consisting of two separate adjoining bedrooms for parents and children.
All rooms have en-suite showers/toilets and lovely views of the surrounding mountains with two of our rooms having their own balcony overlooking the spectacularly majestic Grimming Mountain situated in our valley.

Our bar and Guest-lounge……

After a day of skiing in Winter or hiking and cycling in Summer return to Landhaus Tauplitz to relax in our comfortable guest lounge - choose a book from our small English/German library to browse through or a family game or billiards.

Settle into our house bar for an Apres-ski Gluhwein or Summer Cocktail and ease your way into the evening. Our sun terrace in Summer is the perfect place to relax in the sun.

Our dining room………

The mornings begins with an Austrian breakfast – Muesli and Yoghurt, freshly baked rolls, “Aufschnitt” –Cheese and Austrian cured meats, and a selection of Pickwick tea's and Ground Coffee.
In the evening we serve a 3 course adult menu, utilizing locally sourced organic products and we offer Austrian and International Cuisine. For children, a two course Children’s Menu. We also cater for Special Diets when prior notification is given.

Catering for Special Functions such as Birthdays, Anniversaries or Small Weddings in this beautifully romantic area are a speciality. Incentive Travel Programmes can be arranged for Corporate weekends or small conferences.

Sauna……………

After an exhausting day of winter sports, walking, canyoning, mountain biking, or an excursion to the nearby beautiful lakes of the Salzkammergut area you can relax totally in our newly built sauna.

Landhaus Tauplitz is situated in the lake district of Austria and within easy reach of the Salzkammergut and Ausseerland lakes. There are 76 crystal clear lakes of which six are found on the highest plateau in Europe – the Tauplitzalm. The summer has long warm days, beautiful wild flowers, green pastures with the tinkling sound of cowbells being a feature.
A prefect background for Hiking, Cycling, Adventure Sports and particularly special for scenic Golf Courses nestling in the majestic Alpine landscape.
