Wonderful views. The route leads by an original, great mountain world, between the “Schlern” rocks on one side and the Tiers valley deeply down on the other one.

From the hotel go downwards to S. Ciprian passing some houses until you reach the hydropower station. Here you cross the bridge and follow the path on the right side until you reach the Tschamin hut. You cross the bridge and follow the asphalted street on the left side.
After some minutes we reach a branch-off on the right side (n. 2). This trail leads us upwards to the "Tschetterloch", a 20m deep rock cave.
The path gets more and more steep, until we reach the Tschafatschsattel, 2069m. Here begins the “Schlern” high plateau. At the branch-off we follow the path on the left side (n. 9). Now we are going in direction of the Mittagskofel, 2065m. By bushes in ups and downs after a while you reach a little climbing passage.
From the “Nigglscharte” you can make a deviation to the summit of the Hammerwand, 2130m, with far view in the Valle Isarco and on the high plateau Schlern. Back on the same path as before in steep descent you reach the Tschafon hut. From here you arrive to the Cyprianerhof (4A).
