- Description

As an alternative option to the Seiser Alm cable car, you can tackle the ascent with pure pedal-power. The advantages: The road is car-free from 9am to 5pm, so nothing can get in the way of the fun.
- Directions
-
The best way to get to the set-off point in Compatsch doesn’t have to be by cable car: You can easily do it by bike and your own leg-power. Initially, you have to tackle a slightly challenging stretch through Trotz above Seis am Schlern, after which you come to the Seiser Alm road, which is closed to traffic from 9 am to 5 pm. A weaving route crosses under the Seiser Alm cable car route numerous times as you wind your way up to the Seiser Alm. When you get to the Spitzbühl, 100 m below Compatsch, you can access one of the Seiser Alm MTB routes. Otherwise, the starting point for most routes is a bit further uphill, in the village of Compatsch.
