On this circular trail you can admire the unique prehistoric long stones - perforated stones. Some of them are still in their original place. The history around this prehistoric stone setting is conveyed by information boards. Start and end point of the circular walk is the Mostgut and Buschenschank Kuchlbauer in Riegersberg. Refreshments are available at the Mostgut.

Already now we can see the first perforated stones
At the end of the dirt road we turn right into the forest and cross the brook.
After the brook we continue to the left until we reach the field path again
Here we could turn right to get back to the starting point
We go on and come to an asphalted road
There we turn left and then we turn right into the housing estate.
At the end of the settlement we turn left and follow the signposts
We come to an asphalted road and turn further ahead onto the main road
After a short uphill stretch we are back on the road towards Mostgut and Buschenschank Kuchlbauer - Highest point

Proper backpacking makes many things easier: pack heavy things first. The water bottle should always be within easy reach in a side pocket.
All things that are often needed, such as sunglasses, camera or hiking map, belong on top.
Before the start of the hike, check the opening times for refreshment stops and pack the appropriate food.
Emergency equipment (incl. blister plaster) belongs in every backpack!
It is always advisable to dress according to the onion system!
A good hiking boot is a good companion and should never be missing on the mountain!

Hikers should avoid visits to the forest about 1.5 hours before sunrise and after sunset, as wild animals are particularly active during this time.
Plastic bottles, handkerchiefs, cigarette butts etc. have no place in the forest! Please make sure that you do not leave any rubbish in the forest.
Camping and lighting fires are strictly forbidden in the forest!
In principle, every person is allowed to pick 2 kg of mushrooms and berries per day for personal use. It is only prohibited if the forest owner expressly forbids it.
