From the Kirchmoar inn in St. Blasen, the hiking trail leads uphill from the edge of the village on the mountain side across a pasture. At the following fence, keep to the left, cross the edge of the forest halfway evenly into the valley and reach a renovated residential house.
Now follow the ditch uphill until you reach a wayside cross surrounded by two lime trees. A green forest path leads to a hunting lodge and the subsequent forest path to the Karchauer Straße at the Seebauer homestead. This was the home of the folk song teacher Lois Steiner.
You branch off onto trail no. 31a in the direction of Mühlsteinboden. A short spur leads to the Arsenikstollen. First continue along the forest road, then on a forest path to the next forest road and on this to the small church at Mühlsteinboden, 1544m.
On the forest road back towards the saddle, in front of which a signpost points to a path. Follow this path straight downhill, paying close attention to the white dots! You reach a biotope with a fountain. At the pasture gate keep to the right, only 20 steps on the forest road, then at the boundary stone 102 downhill. At a flat bend in the forest road, a sign points to the Mühlsteinboden. Here at boundary stone 26 straight downhill, following a forest path.
Across the pasture into the village and back to the Kirchmoar inn.
