Description: You can take a seat on many benches on the Wenigzell circular hiking trail. Here you can enjoy the landscape and nature.
Directions: The starting point is the village square. We follow the markings and pass the Buchtelbar. Immediately afterwards, we continue left in the direction of the cemetery. After the Köberl farm (vlg. Poihofer), the path descends slightly and we cross the Haselbach stream. After a few metres we turn left and walk leisurely along the Bründlweg. It was not really strenuous yet, but nevertheless we relax at a "forest bath" and enjoy the wonderful peace. Fresh and refreshed, we continue to the elevated tank (local water pipe), then turn left to the local history museum and we are back at the village square.

Hikers should avoid visits to the forest about 1.5 hours before sunrise and after sunset, as wild animals are particularly active during this time.

Plastic bottles, handkerchiefs, cigarette butts etc. have no place in the forest! Please make sure that you do not leave any rubbish in the forest.

Camping and lighting fires are strictly forbidden in the forest!

In principle, every person is allowed to pick 2 kg of mushrooms and berries per day for personal use. It is only prohibited if the forest owner expressly forbids it.
Tips: Take time for a swim in the forest or enjoy the culinary delights in Wenigzell.
Directions: From Vienna: via the A2, exit Pinggau - Friedberg, Rohrbach an der Lafnitz, Mönichwald, Waldbach, Wenigzell.
From Graz: via the A2, exit Gleisdorf, Kaindorf, Pöllau bei Hartberg, Schloffereck, direction Vorau, left after the Kreuzwirt to Wenigzell.
Parking: Parking possible throughout Wenigzell, best at the old armoury or at the cemetery
